INTRODUCTION

VCRIS is an international conference annually focused on Cryptography and Information Security. In 2025, in addition to its core topics, VCRIS 2025 will have a new theme on quantum science and technology as part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) 2025, aiming to contribute to raising awareness among scientists, educators, researchers, and students about the significance of quantum science and applications.

Following the success of VCRIS 2024, this event will continue to be held in Hanoi, the thousand-year-old capital of Vietnam, renowned for its rich history, cultural heritage, and vibrant historical landmarks. The Academy of Cryptography Techniques, selected by the Vietnamese Government as a pivotal institution for nurturing information security expertise, will serve as the venue for the VCRIS 2025. The Academy of Cryptography Techniques stands as Vietnam’s exclusive hub for cultivating professionals with both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications and spearheading research in cryptographic science and technology under the purview of the Vietnam Government Information Security Commission (VGISC).

As part of the conference, the Quantum Autumn School will be hosted providing students with a valuable opportunity to learn, stay updated on technological trends, and engage with leading professors and experts in the fields of quantum science and technology. CALL FOR PAPERS

Paper Submission and Publication

  • The authors are invited to submit their full papers by the deadline through the VCRIS 2025 submission page. The submissions will be peer-reviewed for originality and scientific quality. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. Papers should follow the LaTeX series format as described at IEEE’s website and should not exceed 6 pages. Word-format papers are also accepted.

The main theme of VCRIS 2025 is the application of cryptography and information security, with a new track of quantum science and technology. The conference aims to provide a platform for exchanging and sharing the latest research in the fields of cryptography, information security, and quantum science and technology. It also offers an opportunity for the publication and dissemination of cutting-edge research through reputable international publishers. As part of the conference, the Quantum Autumn School contributes to raising awareness among scientists, professionals, lecturers, and students about the significance of quantum science and applications.

VCRIS 2025 is organized by the Academy of Cryptography Techniques in collaboration with co-organizing institutions including the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), the Vietnam Association of Faculties-Institutes-Schools-Universities of ICT (FISU), and the Information Security Journal, with the endorsement of the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, the University of Lorraine, France and the Computer Security and Industrial Cryptography group (COSIC) of KU Leuven, Belgium.
