THE 3rd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CRYPTOGRAPHY AND INFORMATION SECURITY

– VCRIS 2026 –

October 29 - 30, 2026

Academy of Cryptography Techniques, Hanoi, Vietnam

Invited Speakers

Sergey Dmitrievich Erokhin

Rector of Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI)

Research areas: Telecommunications, information security, and artificial intelligence

Title: Quantum Technologies: Personnel Training and Promising Scientific Directions

Abstract: This presentation by the Rector of MTUCI outlines the evolution of quantum communications in Russia, tracing the transition from isolated pilot projects to a large-scale national backbone infrastructure. Using the MTUCI ecosystem as a primary case study, the report highlights the development of the university’s testbed and the nation’s first open-access inter-university quantum network (MUQS), alongside its ongoing integration into the broader national agenda.

The presentation details the infrastructure’s growth, emphasizing key practical milestones and the scaling of hybrid networks. It further introduces the MTUCI Quantum Center, structured into five specialized sectors, and showcases their recent research achievements and future prospects. Core scientific areas include the impact of external factors on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) in hybrid lines, the influence of weather on atmospheric QKD, gate-based and adiabatic quantum computing, post-quantum cryptography, and the development of adaptive optics to mitigate atmospheric turbulence. A central theme is the Center’s commitment to practical application, the development of domestic solutions, and the training of highly qualified specialists through hands-on experience with active infrastructure.
